A dose of unseasonably warm weather extended the golf season until the final weekend of October across northern Wisconsin and now another week of temperatures predicted to reach the low 70s in southern Wisconsin will give golfers there the opportunity to tee it up into the first week of November. The Straits Course and the Irish Course at Whistling Straits in Haven welcomed their final golfers for the 2022 season Sunday, according to a reservations agent. He said that Blackwolf Run in Kohler will remain open this week and offer golfers the opportunity to play the original championship layout from when the Pete Dye creation first opened in 1988.
