MOSINEE, Wisc. (WJFW)- The Great Northern Conference champions Mosinee are looking to make a deep run at state this year, and their first big playoff test was tonight against Shawano.Number 7 Shawano started off strong against Number 1 Mosinee with an interception from Michael Metcalf-Grassman which was intended for Davin Stoffel. However, Mosinee rose to the occasion and took down Shawano 20-50. Shawano's season ended with a 3-7 record in the conference while improves to 8-1.Mosinee moves on to the next round where they host Rice Lake.
