Madison, WI – Senator Cory Tomczyk (R-Mosinee) issued the following statement regarding the Investiture of Janet Protasiewicz. 'Today, Judge Janet Protasiewicz will be sworn in as a Justice to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. I grew up in an America where judges upheld the constitution, where judges understood separation of powers, and where judges applied the law as written by the legislature. I remember when judges did not make political comments, did not take policy positions, and most certainly did not pre-decide cases that could potentially come before them.
